The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission to the Secretariat.

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION
Before you begin, please prepare the following information:
o Presenting author's contact details
o Email address
o Co-authors' details (if relevant)
o Affiliation details: Institution, Position, City, State (if relevant), Country
o Abstract title - limited to 20 words in UPPER CASE
o Abstract text – limited to 350 words (divided into 6 sections)

Each presentation must address ONE topic (Mobile Content, The New Media Consumer, Film and Television, Gaming, Content Business Models, or the New Media Creator) AND at least TWO sub-topics (business/creative, creative/technology, or business/technology). Each abstract must demonstrate how the accompanying presentation will show the interaction of the two sub-topics of your choice.

Each abstract is to be composed of 6 sections: Introductions, Objectives, Aims, Interaction between sub-topics, Methods (if applicable), and Conclusions.

The submission form at the link below allows you to store your abstract as a draft in order to make changes. Please note:

o Abstracts must be SUBMITTED before the deadline in order to be sent for review.
o Presentation slots are limited and not all abstracts submitted can be included.
o Submission of an abstract acknowledges your acceptance for the abstract to be published in all official conference publications.
o A condition of submission is that you agree to such publication and to surrender any copyright over the abstract as submitted to Contech 2010.

We recommend using word-processing software (for example, Word) for editing your abstract and counting the number of words. Typing your text directly into the field is not recommended for the following reasons:
a: You will not be able to see the abstract after pressing the submit button
b: You will not have a copy
c: You cannot check the number of words

Images, tables, diagrams and graphs should be image files (JPG/PNG/GIF). A maximum of 3 images can be included per abstract. The maximum file size of each graph/image is 500 KB. The maximum pixel size of the graph/image is 600(w) x 800(h) pixel.
Images reduce the number of words allowed in your abstract text. Once the uploading and inserting of images into the abstract body is complete, the reduced number of words for abstract text will be advised. Please note that images may be resized to comply with the CD production.

Upon submitting your abstract via this website, you will receive an “abstract reference number” indicating that your abstract has been submitted successfully. Should you not receive this message within a short while after having submitted the abstract, please contact jtullman@kenes.com for assistance.

Abstracts by mail or fax will not be accepted. In cases of genuine difficulties with uploading via the website, please contact Jennifer Tullman at jtullman@kenes.com.
